The SSI Instructor Training Course (ITC) prepares Divemasters to become SSI Open Water Instructors. At Oceans 5 Gili Air, our 16-day course combines dive theory, teaching practice, rescue workshops and preparation for the Instructor Examination.
Train in groups of no more than six candidates, with individual feedback from experienced Instructor Trainers. Our two training pools provide space to develop teaching skills, buoyancy control and confidence before practising in the ocean.

Warren conducts comprehensive rescue workshops to help every instructor candidate understand and teach rescue skills effectively. His skill circuits focus on clear, controlled demonstrations, giving candidates opportunities to refine their techniques until they can confidently perform and teach each skill.
Beyond the ITC, Warren provides ongoing support and career advice to his graduates. Many of his former students have gone on to become successful dive instructors, Assistant Instructor Trainers, and Instructor Trainers themselves.
